First Nations and Inuit Student Summer Employment Opportunities Program - Indian and Northern Affairs Canada
The First Nations and Inuit Student Summer Employment Opportunities Program will support opportunities for career-related work experience and training during the summer months to in-school First Nations and Inuit youth living on reserves or in recognized communities.
The overall purpose is to assist students in preparing for their future entry into the labour market. The Program provides wage contributions for employers to create jobs for Inuit and First Nations students at the secondary and post-secondary levels.

First Nations and Inuit Youth Work Experience Program - Indian and Northern Affairs

Job Creation Partnerships
The Job Creation Partnerships program provides employment insurance to eligible persons with work experience on projects developed in partnership with the community. Projects may be approved for a period of no greater than 52 weeks. Funding may be provided:

to employers and coordinators to cover such overhead costs as wages and employment related costs and eligible expenses negotiated with program officials;

for capital costs to a maximum of $1 million per year where such costs are essential to the achievement of objectives. Assistance provided for capital costs must be on a cost-shared basis.

Payroll Rebate Program - Nova Scotia Business Inc.
NSBI's Payroll Rebate Program is a performance-based incentive based on targeted employment creation and new payroll generation offered to eligible companies expanding or locating in Nova Scotia. To receive a rebate, eligible companies must create a certain number of new jobs within a set timeframe. The jobs must be maintained to the end of the rebate period. The rebate is usually payable annually over a term not exceeding six years.
