Summary
The Nova Scotia Statistics Division is the Province’s representative in the national statistical system and receives Statistics Canada data for distribution within the Provincial Government.
The resources of the Statistics Division include statistical analysis, publishing, survey development tools, and reference materials. Information and data are received from the Conference Board of Canada, Canada Housing and Mortgage Corporation (CMHC), Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, Industry Canada’s "Strategis", and Provincial Government departments.
The Nova Scotia Statistics Division maintains a reference library of their publications and electronic information where the statistical information is easily accessible for viewing, and includes publications such as the Nova Scotia Statistical Review.
